WHO WE ARE

You know when you're shopping for clothes online, but you don't know how they will look or fit on your body? Maybe you've had to buy multiple sizes of an item only to return most if not all of them because the item didn't fit exactly like you expected. If you have been through this frustrating situation, you are not alone.

  • Apparel is returned 3X more often than the two nearest categories—electronics and footwear.

  • Last year, these returns cost U.S. apparel brands a discouraging $128B+ dollars, roughly one-third of their total revenue (including brick and mortar sales).

  • Over 5 billion pounds of textile waste is sent to landfills annually.

Retail industry experts suggest the problem will only worsen, projecting the return rate will increase 95% by 2025. That means more retailer dollars lost on returns, more textiles in landfills, and more unhappy customers.

Couture Technologies has a mission to change the retail online shopping market to help customers get the right fit the first time and to solve many of the logistics and sustainability problems clothing brands face every day.
